We are seeking a loan officer to evaluate, authorize, and either approve or deny loan applications for individuals or businesses. As a loan officer, you will serve as a liaison between clients and our financial institution, ensuring that qualified applicants receive loans in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and related documentation within set limits.
• Conduct interviews with applicants to determine financial eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans.
• Calculate all relevant ratios and metrics, and establish debt payment plans.
• Communicate with clients to request or provide necessary information.
• Justify and report decisions on loan approvals or rejections.
• Complete loan contracts and advise clients on policies and restrictions.
• Stay updated on various loan types and financial services.
• Maintain and update account records.
• Assess customer needs, explore available options, and introduce various loan products.
• Develop referral networks, suggest alternative channels, and cross-sell products to meet quotas.
• Go the extra mile to build trust, customer loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process.
• Operate in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and lending guidelines.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a loan officer.
• Familiarity with computers and banking software applications.
• Strong understanding of direct and indirect lending products and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A focus on customer satisfaction and sales capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
• A BS degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

Job Details:

• This position is 100% commission-based and fully remote.
• Employment types available: Part-time, Commission-based.
• Annual earnings range from $87,667.00 to $393,457.00.
