Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce UX Researcher (Chinese-Speaking) to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in user experience research, with a focus on enhancing e-commerce platforms. This role is crucial in understanding user needs and behaviours in Chinese-speaking markets, ensuring our platforms offer a seamless and engaging shopping experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct user research across various stages of the user lifecycle, collaborating with operations and other business departments to address research needs.
• Design and execute customized research plans, managing communication, research method design, data analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights.
• Identify key user pain points and business opportunities, planning specific research topics such as user profiling, pain point identification, user experience research, user growth, and competitive analysis.
• Continuously improve research methodologies and execution plans, refining research approaches and developing systems for consistent results.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Fluent in both Chinese and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in user research, specifically in e-commerce.
• Expertise in both qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups) and quantitative research (e.g., surveys, SQL) methods.
• Experience in competitive industry analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, with a user-centric perspective, capable of uncovering key insights from data and identifying business opportunities.
