Commercial Installation Technician

Position Summary : As a Commercial Installation Technician at SafeTouch Security, you'll complete installations for video surveillance, access control systems, and virtual security guard applications.

Responsibilities:

• Install cabling in neatly and in accordance with all codes and standards
• Install & configure security devices
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Assist with installations and upgrades.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Perform limited travel as needed.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory for service vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.
• Experience installing electronic security, low voltage or electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic networking skills.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background requirements.
• Valid driver's license and insurance-approved driving record. Maintain less than 3 points on fleet driving policy.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work on a ladder up to 20’.
• Work outside.
• Perform all other physical tasks associated with the job.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Hours : Monday through Friday
