The Renaissance time gets primarily connected to artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Donatello and Albrecht Dürer. The Renaissance House of our hotel was also built in this important epoch.
After it wasn't used the last decades, we have made it to us for the task to restore this unusual house lovingly.
An unusual ceiling fresco is found in many rooms an in the corridor area from the 16th century. This is restored professionally in cooperation with experienced restorers and under observation of the office for culture and protection of historical monuments in Dresden. A Latin inscription has remained unchanged in the corridor of the entrance area.
Another unusual feature is the Aqua Manila of 1516. You find a copy true to the original in one of the double rooms in the 1st floor today. Cross vaults got very well are found both in the cellar and in individual rooms. To underline this historical unusual feature, the rooms are equipped with antiques from Italy.
Just like the Old Town House the Renaissance house also is directly due to it Via regia, the most important and oldest trade route of Europe.
